After serving as a Waco fire fighter more than a decade, Alex decided to get his real estate license in 2017. While still on shift at the fire station every third day, much of his time is now devoted to working hard to help clients find their dream property or sell at the best price.
Alex grew up in small towns across North Central Texas and graduated from Milford High School in 1999. He has lived in McLennan County for 20 years and has seen the exciting growth in the area. He recognized that with this growth has come a high demand for property and the need for professional and ethical real estate agents.
He and his wife bought their first home in 2004, and that’s when he began to be intrigued by the real estate process. After buying and selling their 5th property, he decided to turn his passion for buying and selling properties into a career.
Alex has become a top producer over the past two years and works hard for his clients. He's honed his skills in pricing, negotiating, matching clients’ needs with the right property and helping them through the often-complicated process of buying or selling.
He and his family worship at First Baptist Church Waco, and they recently bought a Texas ranchette in Northern McLennan County.
Kirk was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but from my earliest memories of trips to Aunt Opal and Uncle Horace’s farm in Prosper or our friend's horse farm in Lancaster, He knew he was a country boy at heart. After high school graduation, Kirk moved to Waco to attend Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. After a short stint in the Oil and Gas industry, he joined the United States Navy and went to flight school to achieve his lifelong dream of learning to fly. Captain Kirks' next stop was back to Dallas, where he spent 25 years flying for Southwest Airlines until his retirement in August 2020.
It was during my Baylor years that he was introduced to Bosque County through a Waco doctor he worked for doing odd jobs on his ranch outside of Clifton, Texas. One trip to the ranch and he was hooked!! Kirk knew where he wanted to live and raise his family…so, in 1996, following his “country boy” yearnings, he and his wife (of 34 years) moved their growing family out of the metroplex and down South to the beautiful hills of Bosque County. For the last 26 years, they have made Bosque County our home, where they raised and homeschooled their seven children, and now sent them all out into the world to make it a better place… making him and his wife “empty nesters”! Kirk and Genanne both were involved with our children serving with the local 4-H and Boy Scouts. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for two ministries, B.A.S.I.C. Training in Hardin, KY, and FCA Football – Midwest, based in Osage Beach, MO.
After all those years at home, educating their kiddos and preparing them for the world, Genanne now spends most of her “free time” running around the country, visiting their kids and their families (seven grandkids and growing) …because “they need Mama G’s help”!!??
As for Kirk, after some time off, he is on to his next adventure…joining the Team at Twin Bends Realty! He always dreamed of living the “country life” and was blessed with the opportunity and ability to make that happen. Now, as a member of the Twin Bends Realty Team, he can help others achieve that dream! Understanding the needs of families living in a rural setting, as well as those desiring both farm/ranch and recreational properties, Kirk would appreciate the opportunity to help you realize your dream…no matter how big or small.
James’ Central Texas roots run deep. He is the fifth generation to be born and raised in Elm Mott, TX. James attended Connally High School class of '98. He holds and Associates degree in fire Science.
The love of music and the great outdoors were inherent in James' youth. He worked various jobs throughout High School. James had family that are members of the Waco Fire Department, so he entered the fire academy upon graduation from Connally. He has served the Central Texas community for the past 20 years at the Department and absolutely loves his job and the comradery that goes with it. His current rank is Engineer/Driver for Truck 1 out of East Waco.
Being a firefighter allows James a flexible schedule and through his contacts at Station 1, he developed an interest in real estate and the ability to serve his community outside of the fire station. His love for the great outdoors and living in the country has led him to Twin Bends Realty.
He and his wife Monica are the proud parents of two. They enjoy their quiet time as a family and James keeps his son busy working around the house on his days off. James loves working on cars and has played in various bands throughout Central Texas. He is also a Mason and is currently a member of the Baylor Masonic Lodge.
In James’ own words, “Hard work pays off. I am focused, dedicated, and ready to work hard for you.”
Before moving to Temple in 2015, Stephen grew up on a ranch just outside of Athens, TX. It was there he learned the fundamentals of labor by tending to the day-to-day maintenance and responsibilities that came with living on a cattle ranch. As a teenager, Stephen became more involved with the church of First Presbyterian in Athens and also volunteered his time with organizations such as Grace Presbytery and AmeriCorps on mission trips.
After graduating from Athens High School in 2009, Stephen moved to Tyler, TX where he worked as a personal trainer and a firearm salesman while obtaining an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Tyler Junior College.
In 2015, Stephen and his wife moved to Temple where they have developed relationships in the community and have grown to love the Central Texas area. He now works as a Firefighter for the City of Temple. Stephen enjoys the 24/48 schedule that the Fire Department offers. The flexibility of a set schedule has allowed Stephen the time to pursue his interest in real estate and obtain his Texas Real Estate license.
While selling firearms, Stephen developed a love for cultivating a deal. He earned his real estate license in 2019 and wasted no time in marketing himself around Central Texas. He has already experienced early success in helping clients buy and sell.
Stephen brings a high level of energy and determination to the table and works hard to close the best deal for his clients. In his words,
“Whether you’re buying or selling, I strive to exceed your expectations.”
